Singaporean cartoonist Heng Kim Song takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to China's slowing economy.

Heng Kim Song has been an editorial cartoonist atLianhe Zaobao, the largest Chinese daily in Singapore, since 1984. His work, which often takes a tongue-in-cheek look at current events and international public figures, is also regularly published in theThe New York Timesand theSouth China Morning Post.He has won accolades for his cartoons including First Prize in the United Nations ESCAP's Cartoon Competition and the Grafica Internazionale Award presented by the International Festival of Political Satire in Italy.
