As head of Longevity Risk Transfer within Prudential’s PRT business, Amy’s expertise offers US pension plan sponsors a unique opportunity to benefit from pension risk transfer techniques that may not be well known in this country. Through her work on several groundbreaking transactions in the UK, for instance, Amy not only helped companies reduce their longevity risk, but also uncovered new and flexible pension derisking techniques that she now shares with US plan sponsors.
Since 2011, Amy and her team have successfully closed more than $40 billion in international reinsurance transactions covering more than 190 pension funds in the UK alone, including British Airways, Rolls-Royce and Risk magazine’s 2014 Deal of the Year for British Telecom.
