It's four straight years on top for the J.P. Morgan Cazenove quartet conducted byHarm Meijerin London. The researchers cover 43 stocks, one fewer than last year, but aim to initiate coverage on four or five more in 2013. One New York–based money manager praises the team for "using a consistent framework to navigate these uncertain times." Two U.K.-based real estate investment trusts, Great Portland Estates and Hammerson, top the analysts' list of favorites for the year. The former has "the best management team, and firepower for acquisitions," while the latter features prime shopping centers, modest leverage and active management — "all the ingredients we like in this market," says Meijer, 38.
