The image of angry, hulking football players ready to tackle apparently is enough to keep Kirk Wright out of sight.

The image of angry, hulking football players ready to tackle apparently is enough to keepKirk Wrightout of sight. The missing manager of Marietta, Ga.-based hedge fundInternational Management Associatesis still in hiding, reports theAtlanta Journal-Constitution, because of some of the actions by unhappy investors whose money is also in hiding somewhere. The paper cites an incident in which a former, unnamed player/investor threatened Wright. The paper did not speculate who that might be but did mention that some of those old pros happen to live in Atlanta:Blaine Bishop(who deposited $4.1 million with IMA),Steve Atwater($3.3 million) andTerrell Davis($2.1 million), who together sued Wright locally. In another incident, according to his Wright's lawyer, Jacob Frenkel, a former player showed up at Wright's doorstep posing as a law enforcement officer demanding to know his whereabouts. Frenkel, who told the paper that his client's state of being is "thoughtful and articulate," but would not say why Wright would not turn himself in.
