Citi Replaces U.S. Retail Banking Head
Manuel Medina-Mora succeeds Teresa Dial as CEO of Citi Consumer Banking for the Americas.
Citigroup ‘s retail banking head in North America, Teresa Dial, has left the firm, The Wall Street Journal reports. Manuel Medina-Mora, Chairman and CEO of Citi Latin America and Mexico, will succeed Dial as CEO of Citi Consumer Banking for the Americas.
In the new role, Medina-Mora will manage the retail branch network, the Citi credit and debit card business and the local commercial bank in the Americas. Medina-Mora will also serve as the Chairman of Citi’s newly created Consumer Council, where he will oversee Citi’s global consumer strategy and will work in association with all regional CEOs.
