Michael Meltz debuts in the No. 3 position. Lauded by investors for his “detailed analyses” and “client-centric service,” the J.P. Morgan analyst elevated Experian to top pick in May 2009, at 465.25p, on the belief that the financial information services company, which is incorporated in Ireland but has operational headquarters in Nottingham, England, and Costa Mesa, California, would see rising demand for its proprietary databases, analytics and modeling tools. The stock had jumped 33.6 percent, to 621.50p, and trumped the sector by 26.1 percentage points, by late August 2010.
