Dogan Yayin Holding is planning to sell its daily newspaper, Hürriyet.

    Dogan Yayin Holdingis planning to sell its daily newspaper,Hürriyet,The Wall Street Journalreports. The Turkish media group has appointedGoldman Sachs Groupto advise it on the sale.

    News Corporation, owner of The Wall Street Journal, and Germany’sAxel Springerhave previously shown interest in Dogan’s media assets. The Dogan group has been looking to sell assets to cover $3.1 billion in taxes and fines.
