    Tower Research Capital’s portfolio manager for a distressed mortgage fund,Clayton DeGiacinto, has left,FINalternativesreports. DeGiacinto has started a new financial advisory firm,Axonic Capital.

    TheAxonic Credit Opportunities Fundand theAxonic Credit Opportunities Overseas Fundwere launched in January 2011 with about $140 million. DeGiacinto has previously also worked withGoldman Sachs, where he specialized in adjustable mortgages.
