Cantor Adds Equity Options Sales Head

Investment bank,Cantor Fitzgerald, has appointedPeter Cecchinias managing director and head of institutional equity derivatives sales,Bloombergreports. Cecchini will be the chief strategist and work with Cantor’s traders to recommend options trades on stocks, indexes and exchange-traded funds.

He will join Cantor from the firm’s publicly traded arm,BGC Partners. Cantor has also appointed BGC’sJamie Halegouaas a senior equity derivatives strategist andElizabeth Kentas a salesperson. Halegoua and Kent will both report to Cecchini.
