HFR: Hedge Fund Assets Reach $1.91T
According to Hedge Fund Research hedge-fund assets have crossed the $1.917 trillion mark.
According toHedge Fund Research(HFR), hedge-fund assets have crossed the $1.917 trillion mark,The Wall Street Journalreports. The assets increased by a net $149 billion in the fourth quarter of last year.
Investors added around $13.1 billion in new money during the last quarter, after having put in $19 billion in the third quarter of 2010, addsReuters. The industry last touched the $1.93 trillion figure in the second quarter of 2008.
