Romania To Ink €300M WB Loan

Romania is likely to secure a credit facility agreement with the World Bank.

    Romania is likely to secure a credit facility agreement with theWorld Bank,Bloombergreports. The deal will be packaged with credit from theInternational Monetary Fundand the European Union.

    The World Bank may give about €300 million to finance a budget deficit of 4.4% of gross domestic product agreed with other banks. After the payment, Romania will draw €600 million from the €1 billion program it has with the World Bank, which expires in May.
