Skandia Offers Local Currency EM Fund

Skandia Investment Group(SIG) has unveiled a local currency emerging market debt fund,Investment Weekreports. TheSkandia Local Currency Emerging Market Debtfund mandate is being run by fixed income manager,Stone Harbor Investment Partners.

The fund, which will initially be rolled out in the U.K. discretionary market, will be available to retail investors, and a retail share class will be added in due course. SIG is seeking approval from local regulators to launch the fund in countries across its global distribution network.
