Market Vectors To Split Indo ETF Shares

Van Eck Global’sMarket Vectors ETF Trusthas approved a three-for-one split of its Indonesia ETF shares. TheMarket Vectors Indonesia Index ETFshares will be split on Jan. 28, 2011 and will be payable on Jan. 31, 2011.

The split will lower the share price of the ETF by increasing the number of shares outstanding, which will make it more accessible to investors. Van Eck Global expects the split to create greater liquidity for the fund and facilitate tighter bid-ask spreads.
