The Istanbul Stock Exchange has launched a new index that includes 30-listed companies.
TheIstanbul Stock Exchangehas launched a new index that includes 30-listed companies,Reutersreports. TheParticipation Indexwill include discount retailerBIM,Turk Telekom, and the main landline operator and builder,Enka Insaat.
The index will also include an Islamic participation bank,Bank Asyaand a real estate trust,Emlak Konut. The included companies will comply with Sharia banking principles.Bizim Securitiesis consulting for the index.
