Credit Suisse Unveils U.S. Stock Platform

Credit Suisse Securitieshas unveiled a new U.S. stock platform, which will reveal its trades to the market,金融时报》reports.Light Pool, an electronic communications network, will classify traders into separate categories and will not sell high-speed data feeds to groups.

The new platform is built on the same technology used for the brokerage’s dark pool,Crossfinder, addsBloomberg. Light Pool’s volume will initially come mainly from Credit Suisse algorithms. The market had started a trial phase in late December and is set to launch fully by the end of the first quarter.
