Barclays Corporate has appointed Karl Nolson as head of a new syndicated loans team in London,Bloombergreports. He is joining the unit of Barclays Bank from Barclays Capital, where he was one of the founding members of the loan syndicate team.

Nolson will be responsible for pricing, underwriting and syndicating loans for the bank’s corporate unit, which targets companies with annual revenue of about $8 million. He will be reporting to head of debt finance of Barclays Corporate, Alan Turner.
