BNY Mellon-affiliated Australian equities manager, Ankura Capital will unveil a new smart-beta strategy index,Investor Dailyreports. The strategy will be based on the firm’s quantitative investment process to construct a new index product for Australian equities.

Ankura’s index strategy will fit in between the traditional, market capitalization-based method and the independent pricing approach. The vehicle will initially take the shape of a bespoke mandate.
