Resultant Capital Partnersis launching its first fund with $20 million of internal money,Pensions & Investmentsreports. TheResultant Hedged Equity Fundis a long/short U.S. equity hedge fund of the firm, formed by former employees ofSymphony Asset Management.
The new portfolio will be launched on Feb. 8, 2011. Opened on January 1, Resultant Capital will manage institutional assets quantitatively using a concentrated long/short hedge fund and long-only U.S. equity strategy.
