BATS To Acquire Chi-X Europe

BATS Global Marketswill acquire European alternative trading system,Chi-X Europe,Mondovisionereports. As per the deal, Chi-X Europe and the U.S.-based exchange operator will combine to formBATS Chi-X Europe.

The transaction, whose financial terms were not disclosed, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.Broadhaven Capital Partners, throughBeech Hill Securities, acted as financial adviser to BATS Global Markets, whileLexicon Partnersacted as financial adviser to Chi-X Europe.
