Ex-M&G Equities Head Forms AM Firm

M&G Investments’ former head of equities,David Jane, has set up a new multi-asset boutique,Darwin Investment Managers,金融时报》reports. He has launched the new firm with a former colleague atNewton Investment Management,Anthony Esse, who will be a director.

Jane is in discussions to secure theFinancial Securities Authority’s approval to start approaching IFAs and is in talks to hire fund managers to head up its planned U.K.-domiciled products. The planned funds may be based on the structure used for the multi-asset funds that he managed at M&G.
