ICE Buys Ballista Securities
IntercontinentalExchange has acquired registered broker/dealer, Ballista Securities (Ballista), for an undisclosed sum.
IntercontinentalExchange(ICE) has acquired registered broker/dealer,Ballista Securities(Ballista), for an undisclosed sum. The Ballista system will be integrated into the workflow of ICE’s unit,YellowJacket, allowing easier access to Ballista’s technology.
The move will provide customers with a platform that provides seamless connection to an array of electronic systems and liquidity sources. Ballista, which provides an electronic options platform for the execution of block-sized and complex multi-leg options transactions, will be operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of ICE.
