PC Capital To Buy Mexicana

Mexican private equity firm, PC Capital, will acquire the holding company of Compania Mexicana de Aviacion.

    Mexican private equity firm,PC Capital, will acquire the holding company ofCompania Mexicana de Aviacion,Bloombergreports. Investor group,Tenedora K, which had acquiredNuevo Grupo Aeronauticoin 2010, will transfer its shares to PC Capital before Feb. 21, 2011.

    Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. The Cia Mexicana de Aviacion unit sought for bankruptcy protection in Mexico and U.S. in August 2010 and had shut its operations.
