Vivendi Seeks 44% SFR Stake From Vodafone

French media conglomerate, Vivendi, is in talks with U.K.’s Vodafone.

    French media conglomerate,Vivendi, is in talks with U.K.’sVodafone,Reutersreports. The Paris-based company is seeking to acquire Vodafone’s 44% stake in French mobile operator,SFR.

    The value of stake was not disclosed. Vivendi last month sold its entire 20% stake inNBC UniversaltoGEfor $5.8 billion.
