Aviva Names Global Aggregate Head

Aviva Investors has hired Dan James as global aggregate portfolio management head.

    Aviva Investorshas hiredDan Jamesasglobal aggregate portfolio management head,The Wall Street Journalreports. From March 1, 2011, James will be responsible for implementing strategies and asset allocation across all global aggregate portfolios.

    James will also be responsible for promoting Aviva Investors’ global aggregate products and developing high-margin absolute return solutions. He is joining the global asset management business ofAvivafromFischer Francis Trees and Watts, where he was head of short duration and absolute return. He has also worked atFortis Investments.
