New Mexico Awards $1.3B PE Mandate

New Mexico State Investment Councilhas appointedStepStone Groupas private equity consultant for its $1.3 billion portfolio,Pensions & Investmentsreports. The general consultant of the system,NEPC, was its private equity consultant on an interim basis afterAldus Equity Partnerswas terminated in April 2009.

The council is also seeking to select eitherRV KuhnsorPension Consulting Allianceas its general investment consultant on March 22, 2011. NEPC has been invited to rebid. Both RFPs were issued by the council in December 2010.
