Grupo EBX To Pay $1.5B For Ventana
Grupo EBX has acquired Canadian gold-mining company, Ventana Gold.
Grupo EBXhas acquired Canadian gold-mining company,Ventana黄金,The Wall Street Journalreports. TheEike Batistacontrolled investment company took control of Ventana through its international unit,AUX Canada Acquisition.
EBX, which owned 20% of Ventana before the deal, will now hold a 91.3% stake in the Vancouver-based company. In connection to the deal, the directors of Ventana have been replaced by Batista,Luiz Correia,Leonardo Moretzsohn,Pedro Garcia,Peter Nathanial,John BrooksandMark Bennett, addsCanada Newswire.
