Bank of Cyprusis seeking to raise a total of about €1.3 billion in a bond sale,Reutersreports. The notes, to be issued by the Cypriot financial institution, can convert into equity and bolster the firm’s capital to meet global regulation.

The bank is planning to issue convertible enhanced capital securities. The offering of Bank of Cyprus will be an enhanced version of the model of CoCos notes.
