Citadel Hires Execs For Quant Trading Group

Citadel Investment Grouphas appointed two executives to roll out its new quantitative-trading group,Bloombergreports. The firm has hiredJamil NazaraliandMatt Cushmanto work with its existing equities, currency and high-frequency trading teams.

In the new role, the duo will be reporting directly to the founder of Citadel,Kenneth Griffin. Prior to this, Nazarali was senior managing director in charge of electronic trading team atKnight Capital Group, while Cushman was managing director in the same group.
