Iowa To Seek $300M Smidcap Managers

Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System will award two $150 million mandates.

    Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement Systemwill award two $150 million mandates,Pensions & Investmentsreports. The system is seeking one smidcap value manager and one smidcap growth manager to run a combined $300 million.

    The $22.27 billion system may fund the mandates from cash or a $1.2 billionWilshire 4500index fund managed byMellon Capital Management, or a combination of both. ConsultantWilshire Associatesis assisting with the search.
