MSSB Appoints JP Morgan COO

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has appointed Jeff Hack as its COO.

    Morgan Stanley Smith Barneyhas appointedJeff Hackas its COO,The Wall Street Journalreports. Hack, who works under PresidentGregory Fleming,将管理的技术/operations integration activities and will also be in charge of global risk management at the brokerage.

    Hack will replaceJim Rosenthal, who was previously the division’s COO. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Hack served as COO ofJP Morgan’s worldwide securities services business and earlier held the same role in its global private banking and private wealth management arm.
