BNY Mellon Appoints Mexico GM

BNY Mellon has named Jorge Garay as general manager in Mexico and manager of the company’s corporate trust business in the country.

    BNY Mellonhas namedJorge Garayas general manager in Mexico and manager of the company’s corporate trust business in the country. Based in Mexico City, Garay will be in charge of operations, client service delivery and general management ofBNY Mellon Corporate Trustin Mexico.

    Most recently, he served as head of the trust division atBanco Santanderin Mexico. Prior to that, Garay worked atABN AMRO Bank,HSBC BankandBanorte. Separately,Jose Sahab, who was general counsel of finance atPemex, has been named head of sales, Mexico and Colombia to BNY Mellon’s global America sales team.
