ICE, CME in CDS Clearing Deal
IntercontinentalExchange has entered an agreement with CME Group.
IntercontinentalExchange(ICE) has entered an agreement withCME Group. The U.S. futures exchange‘sICE Linkplatform will provide connectivity toCME Clearingfor credit default swap (CDS) clearing.
ICE Link offers straight-through-processing (STP) for the CDS market, with connectivity to 453 buy-side firms, 26 dealers, 11 prime brokerages and five interdealer brokers. It already offers STP connectivity to theICE TrustandICE Clear EuropeCDS clearing houses.
