Banco do Brasil is planning an overseas bonds issue worth about $500 million.

    Banco do Brasilis planning an overseas bonds issue worth about $500 million,The Wall Street Journalreports. The bonds will mature in 10 years and the amount to be raised could increase, if there is demand by investors.

    The operation is coordinated byBank of America Merrill Lynch,BB Securities,Banco Votorantim,BNP ParibasandJP Morgan.Banco Safrais acting as a co-manager of the bond issue.
