Chicago Muni To Add $75M To PE Portfolio

Chicago Municipal Employees’ Annuity and Benefit Fund is seeking to allocate $70-75 million to its private equity portfolio.

    It has not yet been determined how the investment will be funded. The system has placed its large-cap domestic equity value manager,Wellington Management, on watch for performance. Wellington manages about $130 million for the fund.
