Experian Buys $400M Colombia’s Computec
Experian will buy Colombian credit information provider, Computec, for $400 million.
Experianwill buy Colombian credit information provider,Computec, for $400 million,金融时报》reports. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and delisting of shares, but the U.K. company anticipates to complete the deal in 2011.
Computec manages Colombia’s consumer credit database and provides services such as credit reports and fraud prevention. In 2007, the U.K. credit-checking company had acquired Brazilian credit consultancy,Serasa.
