South Dakota Foundation Gets $20M

South Dakota Community Foundation has secured a $20 million allocation from Paul Christen and Muffy Christen.

    South Dakota Community Foundationhas secured a $20 million allocation fromPaul ChristenandMuffy Christen,The Rapid City Journalreports. The donation will be used to establish thePaul and Muffy Christen Legacy Fund.

    Around $12.5 million of the grant will provide matching funds for other nonprofit organizations that also start endowment funds with the foundation, while $5 million will directly go to the South Dakota Fund. The remaining $2.5 million will go to the foundation’sCommunity Savings Accountproject for community charities.
