Mavenir Raises $40M In VC Funding

Mavenir Systems, the innovator of mobile infrastructure solutions for LTE operators, has secured $40 million in venture capital funding. The new fifth investment round was led byAugust Capital.

Other investors includeNorth Bridge Venture Partners,Austin Ventures,Alloy Ventures,Greenspring AssociatesandCross Creek Capital. Following the new investment round,Vivek Mehraof August Capital will join Mavenir’s board of directors. Since October 2005, Mavenir has raised a total of $105 million.
