HSBC Middle East Raises $500M

HSBC Bank Middle East has raised $500 million in a sale of notes.

    HSBC Bank Middle Easthas raised $500 million in a sale of notes,Reutersreports. The bonds, issued by the subsidiary ofHSBC, are due to mature in five years.

    The Islamic bonds, sukuk, carry a yield of 3.575%. Regional investors subscribed to 58% of orders, followed by Asian investors with 29%.
