CIBC Hires BofA’s FX Sales Head

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has appointed Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s FX sales director, Quentin Smith.

    Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce(CIBC)has appointedBank of America MerrillLynch’s (BofA) FX sales director,Quentin Smith,FX Weekreports. He has joined CIBC as executive director in the financial solutions group (FSG) in London.

    He will work underthe FSG head for EuropeMark Sweeting. In the new role, Smith will focus on cross-asset distribution to FSG clients. Prior to BofA, he was part ofWestpac’s institutional FX sales team in London.
