UniBank Uses SunGard’s Sierra For FX

UniBank & Trust, a Panama-based financial institution, has selectedSunGard’s Sierra ASP-based solution to support its treasury and global FX activity. Sierra will help UniBank to manage its foreign currency position, investments and liquidity as well as support retail FX services required by its clients.

Sierra has been chosen because of its pre-existing integration with the bank’s core banking platformSignaturefromFiservas well as for its treasury offering. The integration between Sierra and Signature improves operational efficiencies and lowers risk by helping to ensure that the banking treasury and core banking systems are in synchronization.
