Proterra has raised $30 million from investors in a round of venture capital funding.
Proterrahas raised $30 million from investors in a round of venture capital funding. The funding, which was led byKleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, also included通用汽车公司,Mitsui,Vision RidgePartnersand88 Green Ventures.
The electric commercial transit buses maker plans to use the proceeds to complete validation testing of its buses, to deploy more pilot fleets and to boost volume and cut costs. Proterra has elected industry veteranDavid Lehmannas its new Chairman.
