Ativa Deploys Algorithmic Trading Solution

Ativa Corretora, a Brazilian brokerage firm, has selectedProgress Software’s algorithmic trading solution,Progress Apama Capital Markets. The platform will allow Ativa’s new electronic trading business to build and customize low latency algorithmic and high frequency trading strategies.

Ativa may use the algorithmic and high frequency trading platform to launch a hybrid solution for individual investors. The platform, which is deployed by international firms, includingJP Morgan, will allow Ativa to address its real-time risk management needs and adjust to continuously shifting market scenarios.
