Metalloinvest Eyes $1.5B Debt Issue

Metalloinvestis considering launching a debt issue,Reutersreports. The Russian iron ore miner is seeking to raise about $1-$1.5 billion in a sale of bonds.

The proceeds from the issue will be used to refinance debt. The company plans to sell its share in the second half of 2011 and will issue 20% of its shares in London.
