Accel Funds Raise $1.35B
Accel Partners has raised a total of $1.35 billion for two of its two U.S. portfolios.
Accel Partnershas raised a total of $1.35 billion for two of its two U.S. portfolios,Private Equity Hubreports. The Palo Alto-based firm has closed theAccel XIwith $475 million and theAccel Growth Fund IIwith $875 million.
The fundraising for both the portfolios was started on April 26, 2011. The Accel XI is an early-stage venture capital fund, while the Accel Growth Fund II is a growth-stage fund.
