NYSE Euronextwill investigate the technical problems which disrupted trading in its European markets on June 21, 2011,The Wall Street Journalreports. The malfunction disrupted trading in markets, such as Amsterdam’sAEXand Brussels’Bel-20benchmark indexes.
Trading in some stocks and bonds was stopped, while the derivative products’ market was unaffected in Paris. Trading in exchange-traded funds was disrupted in Lisbon.
