UTI MF Extends NFO Closure Period For Fund

UTI Mutual Fundhasextended the new fund offer (NFO) closure period for theUTI - Fixed Term Income Fund - Series IX - VI (368 Days),India Infolinereports. The fund, which was schedule to close on June 30, 2011, will now close on July 4, 2011.

The investment goal of the scheme is to make returns by investing in a portfolio of fixed income securities maturing on or before the date of maturity of the scheme. The units are scheduled to mature on July 6, 2012.
