South Carolina Raises Alt Investments
Columbia’s South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission has raised its commitment to two of its strategic investment partners.
Columbia’sSouth Carolina Retirement System Investment Commissionhas raised its commitment to two of its strategic investment partners,Pensions & Investmentsreports. It increased its allocation toAvenue Capital Managementby nearly $250 million.
Hedge fund management firmDE Shawhas also been committed a value of $750 million. The new commitment includes and combines two existing allocations to DE Shaw that totaled $450 million.
