Legg Manson Hires U.S. Product Head
Legg Mason has appointed Bill Golden as head of U.S. product development and management.
Legg Masonhas appointedBill Goldenas head of U.S. product development and management,MutualFundWirereports. He will be responsible for the domestic product development and management efforts for open and closed-end funds, separately managed accounts and DCIO products of the firm.
In his new role, Golden will report to head of global distributionJoe Sullivan. Golden, who is taking over the duties fromJoel Sauber, has been serving at Legg Mason and its predecessors since 1994.
