Bigshoebazaar Raises $9M In VC Funding

Online apparel and shoe retailerBigshoebazaarIndiahas secured $9 million funding,VC Circlereports.Narayana Murthy’s venture capital firmCatamaranVenturesandNexus Venture Partnersinvested in the Delhi-based online retailer.

The company will use the proceeds to expand its reach and strengthen backend supply chain and delivery infrastructure. The online wholesaler of shoes, apparel, bags, accessories and gift items raised $2.2 million from Nexus in its first round of funding in 2010.
