SGX Derivs Market Adds CIMB As Member

CIMB Securities has joined the Singapore Exchange’s derivatives market as a trading and clearing member.

    CIMB Securities (Singapore)has joined theSingapore Exchange’s (SGX) derivatives market as a trading and clearing member,Mondovisionereports. CIMB will help expand the SGX’s role in the growing futures market as it has licenses in Thailand and Malaysia.

    The recent addition brings the number of clearing members for the derivatives market to 37 and the number of trading members to 34. The securities market also includes 30 trading members and 29 clearing members.
